Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Accommodation Support on Arrival for EU Staff:

  • First 2 weeks Low Cost Accommodation, 75 euro per week cost.
  • Following 6 weeks accommodation costs will be €125 per week per person.
  • Shared room accommodation in Staff Houses/ Hotel, depending on availability at time of arrival.
  • Staff Accommodation includes all utility bills (water/electricity/gas/waste).
  • Free WiFi included.

Job Description/Requirements:

  • Ensure that the Department operates in a guest focused manner; always striving to exceed guest expectations thereby building customer and brand loyalty.
  • To be fully aware of the hotel facilities, activities, targets and promotions, special activities within the hotel
  • To deal with customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with company procedures.
  • To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
  • To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Notice board & Labelling of meeting rooms
  • Provide porterage to and from rooms
  • Organise and Serve the tea and coffee breaks for syndicate rooms.
  • Deliver messages to guest rooms and syndicate rooms.
  • Provide a friendly welcome to all guests
  • Be alert and security conscious at all times
  • Label all luggage and store as per procedures
  • Answering general queries and directing guests when required
  • Monitor set down area and keep as clear as possible
  • Set up and break down of meeting rooms
  • Maintenance of Conference & Banqueting equipment and facilities
  • Upkeep and cleaning of the syndicate rooms, ballroom, and conference areas on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Good level of english language skills required.
  • Applicants must be EU/EEA citizens to be considered for this role
  • Non-EU/EEA applicants cannot be processed due to work permit restrictions in Ireland.
